How to set-up

Network Settings
Tap [Settings] on the home screen and create the network settings. Utilize the standard network settings for the iPhone or other devices used.

SmartSignOn setting
Set the necessary information according to the method of use. If you want to display FEREC Custom page immediately after Log-on, you need to make sure [Show costom page] part is "ON". Note that the settings under [Details] on the general menu do not need to be changed if there is no problem in particular. Set the necessary information according to the method of use.

Automatic FEREC Detection
Tap [Settings] > [SmartSignOn] on the home screen, then enter the shared user name and password for the FEREC account.(see image 1)

Registering Access Points
(1) Tap [SmartSignOn] > [Access Point] on the home screen to display a list of access points on the screen.

(2) Tap [+] on the upper right of the list of access points to display the access point registration screen. (see image 2)

(3) Set the following items on the access point registration screen. (see image 3)
FEREC:
  Name of access point (location name, etc.: optional)
  Address(Host name or IP address)
  Use HTTPS connection(On/Off)
  (If "Use HTTPS connection" is set to "Off," an HTTP connection will be used.)

Account:  Username, password

Details*
Tap [Settings] > [SmartSignOn] on the home screen and set the timeout length for the connection and the URL for automatic detection.(see image 4 and 5)
The timeout length for the connection is for following monitoring time:
 a) Connect to FEREC
 b) Connect to the URL for automatic detection
SmartSignOn accesses the URL for automatic detection and automatically detects FEREC. When using the device in an environment with no Internet connection, change the URL to the site to be used after FEREC authentication.

* Note that these settings do not need to be made unless there is a problem when using the device.

Editing access points(display/edit/remove)
(1) Tap [SmartSignOn] > [Access Point] on the home screen to display a list of access points on the screen.(see image 6)

(2) Tap [Edit] on the upper left of the screen, and then Tap "disclosure button" on the each right side of the list for details (excluding current access point), you will see editing access point screen.(see image 7)

(3) Tap [Save] on the upper right of screen after modified the access point you want to change. (see image 8)

(4)For removing access points, Tap "remove button" on the left side of access point (excluding current access point), and then Tap [Delete] on the right side of the screen.

How to use

Log on/Log out button(center of the screen)
Tap [Logon] button for FEREC authentication.(see image 9)
For Log out, tap [Logout] button.(see image 10)
When you successfully log on, you will see:
  - Display FEREC Custom page if the Auto custom display area is valid.
  - If you have already pre-set your screen (using FEREC action settings), the screen will be displayed.
  - If you have already pre-set your Client information (using FEREC action settings), the client information will be added on the URL of the displayed screen.
For more details about action settings (of FEREC), please read FEREC instruction manual.

Action button(upper left side of the screen)
You will see same operation When you Tap [Logon] button for FEREC authentication and then successfully log on.

Refresh button(upper right side of the screen)
Keep displayed-screen up-to-date through FEREC.

Log on tab(bottom left side of the screen)
Display Log on screen.

Access point tab(bottom right side of the screen)
Display access points on the screen.
